OOTD - Paisley

I love finding clothes which have been forgotten about, it's like going shopping in your own wardrobe.

Trousers - Zara  (You can try to find the same ones on ebay by searching 'zara palazzo trousers' or similar here -1..2..3..4) // Top - Topshop (plain vest top)// Heels - Asos

I bought these paisley print wide leg palazzo trousers from Zara a few months ago, for some reason I'd hidden them deep within my wardrobe and only just discovered them again recently when rummaging through. I am so glad these have reappeared and at the complete right time as they are perfect for summer, so vibrant, striking and elegant, best warn with mid heels (because the trousers cover your shoes you tend to look like a stilt walker if the heels are too high) and either a black or white plain vest top or t-shirt.

Paisley in general is such an opulent print and when added to such a lovely silky material with the mix of royal blue and emerald green and the final product is beautiful.

OOTD - Patterned Trousers

Heels - H&M// Trouser - Matalan (similar 1,2,3,4)// Top- Mango (similar here)// Bag - Vintage

I literally live in leggings, so I love changing it up occasionally and wearing some vibrant trousers. Bright colours and prints are a must in the summer, this used to only apply to statement jewelry, dresses and tops, but I love how the bright pattern trend has transferred to trousers.
They look very classy and put together with a plain simple top and some heels.

I got these trousers from Matalan for just £4 (becoming quite the successful bargain hunter).
This trend was first seen on the catwalks, showcased by designers such as Stella McCartney and Phillip Lim and I for one am delighted that its trickled down to the high street with Zara, Topshop and H&M in particular stocking many different patterns and colours.

To sum-up bright printed trousers-
I'ts like standing out in a subtle way (a very skilled achievement)

OOTD - Tailored

Trousers - Zara (similar 1,2,3 and 4)// Heels - Asos (suede version here)// T shirt - H&M// scarf - Vintage shop - (many similar here)// bag -River Island (similar 1,2,3)

I usually wear leggings most of the time, but when I saw these trousers on the Zara I fell in love with them. They are so different in that they look like tracksuit bottoms and tailored trousers at the same time like a classy take on a casual item, the faux leather pockets are a gorgeous addition also. These trousers are sold out not i think they only lasted on the website about 1 week (understandably) but I have found many similar pairs at Zara (as outlined above).

I have paired these trousers with a basic white v neck T-shirt from H&M which is tucked in to cinch in the waist and showcase the high waist of the trousers, a bright vintage scarf to liven up the outfit and some small heels which help to give the trousers a tailored smart look. This can also be reversed to make the trousers look casual and dressed down with a plain top that isn't tucked in and a pair of converse or plain pumps from Topshop.
