OOTD - Patterned Trousers

Heels - H&M// Trouser - Matalan (similar 1,2,3,4)// Top- Mango (similar here)// Bag - Vintage

I literally live in leggings, so I love changing it up occasionally and wearing some vibrant trousers. Bright colours and prints are a must in the summer, this used to only apply to statement jewelry, dresses and tops, but I love how the bright pattern trend has transferred to trousers.
They look very classy and put together with a plain simple top and some heels.

I got these trousers from Matalan for just £4 (becoming quite the successful bargain hunter).
This trend was first seen on the catwalks, showcased by designers such as Stella McCartney and Phillip Lim and I for one am delighted that its trickled down to the high street with Zara, Topshop and H&M in particular stocking many different patterns and colours.

To sum-up bright printed trousers-
I'ts like standing out in a subtle way (a very skilled achievement)

OOTD - Paisley Blue

Dress - Motel Rocks// Wedges - Matalan (Similar 1 and 2

When the sun comes out the legs come out :).
This sultry paisley blue dress, although very short is so pretty and girly and the style and print is 90s inspired. This is a perfect dress to wear when its hot, I can imagine wearing it to a festival or just for a sunny day in the park.

They also have it in grey on the Motel Rocks website, but I just love the baby blue colour, it matches    perfectly with the white. Even though I often like the androgynous trend, sometimes its nice to feel flirty and feminine.

I actually used to hate wedge sandals but they've definitely grown on me (just as long as they aren't to chunky),  I like how they have to ability to make your legs look incredibly long and thin it makes them a staple piece for the summer.
