OOTD - Misha In wonderland

“There is no better designer than nature.”

Dress- Asos - another similar here

Although this dress looks nothing like the one Alice wore in Alice and wonderland, fall I can think about when I see it is the book/film, the dress is so enchanting and whimsical it would be hard not too link them. The colours are so earthy and merge well together there are two differing styles on the website with the other being slightly darker and with more of a floral print (both linked above) I do prefer the other colour however they are on low stock at the moment and only hold it in a size 14.

This Ultra drop waist mini dress is in fact only available in the petite range at Asos which is designed to fit women of 5'3/1.60m and under, however I am 5'7 and although the dress is a little short it still covers everything and doesn't look like it wasn't intended for a person of my height. I applaud Asos for creating such a unique dress, currently everything looks the same and it's always nice once in a while to choose a piece that breaks the mould, as famously said by Dr. Suess (who relates greatly to Alice and wonderland)  - "Why fit in when you were born to stand out?".

OOTD - Miss Marble

“Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn”
Orson Welles

Dress- Motel Rocks// Boots - Chockers

I absolutely love this dress from Motel Rocks, the skater/babydoll style is cute and girly and the colours of the tie dye marble print are so flattering especially on darker skin tones. This dress is perfect for the warm weather as the material is light and flowy.

Tie dye is also very much on trend at the moment it's definitely in the stages where it's over populating the highstreet stores and getting slightly annoying like studs did a few months ago but it's predominantly on shorts and T-shirts and mainly dip-dye, so this dress is still individual, and you're almost guaranteed you won't see anyone wearing a similar dress to this on your travels.

P.S - You can get 20% off at Motel Rocks by using the code 'mishymoo62'

Graduation Dress

"What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human
contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language."
- Miuccia Prada

Dress - Ginger Fizz

I love the style and the floral print on the dress I chose for my graduation it's so pretty, girly and perfect for a smart occasion as it isn't very revealing. The material has a silky feel which makes it very lightweight, (a must in the abnormally hot weather we are having in UK at the moment) especially as I was going to have to wear a huge gown over it.

Deciding on a dress took a very long time as i'm quite picky and I feel that graduation is almost as important as your wedding day, it's a day where the pictures and memories will be kept forever and you don't want to remember yourself looking horrific. I decided it was definitely best to pick something classic and timeless, and I also wanted a lighter coloured dress as it would stand out under the gown, compliment my darker skin tone and be more suitable in the heat.

These were my other choices :-

OOTD - Dress of the jungle

Heels- H&M// Dress-H&M

I adore this dress and have wanted it since it was full price at £19.99, I just never got round to
buying it but I am so happy about that now as I managed to get it on sale for just £10 :). I love the
pattern and that there's so much going on in the print making it extremely eye catching, from my experience I can guarantee people will be instantly drawn to it and many compliments received. A great thing about the dress is that due to it's complexity it can be easily just thrown on with any neutral heels and it would seem like a lot of effort was made to put the outfit together

I've previously talked about the H&M conscious collection which uses more sustainable materials such as organic cotton and recycled polyester making it very eco-friendly. Most items in the range (mainly in store) feature tropical, leafy and mirrored patterns which are extremely on trend, these styles are seen everywhere at the moment and especially stores such as Zara and Mango.

Shine bright like a diamond ...

Although this dress is literally about 3 years old from Topshop, I wore it a few days ago for the first time on a night out and have absolutely fallen in love with it. This is definitely mainly to do with the bright, vibrant colour and has made me eager to purchase some more bright evening dresses.

When I first bought the dress I was very skeptical as I thought the colour was too over the top for a night out (I would usually stick to dark or light neutrals), however I'm glad I gave it another chance. Bright colours compliment all skin tones and as long as the style of the dress is nice and flattering, can be very classy.

Here are a few other dresses I've been coveting since I discovered my love for the brights :-

OOTD - Denim Dress

Wedges - New look // Dress - Topshop - Still in stores (similar 1,2)

An outfit for a sunny day. I am loving denim dresses at the moment, I've never been a huge fan of them as  previously the styles that they came in weren't very flattering, however now the shift and skater style are popular and they look great especially with a print on them like the aztec design on the one i'm wearing. The denim isn't as thick on them anymore either so they are perfect for to wear whilst its warm with sandals, wedges or even a pair of converse.

These Wedges from New look are pretty high but very comfortable, I can wear them for a whole day without any issues, I have nearly fallen over a few times but I think that's due to my own clumsiness. I like the aztec style print on them and the studs, so pretty and detailed that they get a lot of attention I've already had many people ask where they were from at only £24.99 (can get 10% student discount too) they are 100% worth it.

1 Tshirt 4 ways

Tshirt in all looks - Topshop

1- Heels - Primark  (in store) similar - 1,2// Denim shorts - Levis from Asos

2- Heels - H&M// Skirt - Ebay

3- Skirt - Ebay// Heels - Primark (in store) similar - 1,2// Snake necklace - Camden

4- Dress - Zara similar - 1,2// Sandals - River Island

I love the way you can do so many things with one T-shirt, I could probably do a lot more than 4 looks to be honest but I didn't want this post to be too overloaded.
I especially like that the plain tee can look so much more dressy when worn with heels and in contrast the maxi dress can be made to look casual and more suitable for day time activities, by adding the t-shirt over the top and tying it at the side.

I think my favorite look  is the 2nd, with the pink skirt.

Which is your winner, let me know in the comments :) ?

OOTD - Night owl

Dress - ASOS (sold out - similar)// Heels - Christian Louboutin Highness Arabesque

I thought I'd share the outfit I'm planning to wear on Saturday for my friends birthday night out with you. The bodycon bandeau  dress was from the premium range at ASOS (I've only just discovered ASOS premium, they have some gorgeous dresses definitely check it out). The heels are my super high, Highness Arabesque Loubies (Christian Louboutins). They are my highest pair of shoes and I've had to take time out to practice walking in them mainly because I managed to fall over in the Louboutin shop when trying them on and got laughed at by the security man, so I definitely don't want a repeat of that in a crowded place.

Whilst on the topic of designer shoes just a reminder about Protect your pumps which is a non slip transparent adhesive, to protect your soles, they aren't very pricey and are definitely worth buying as there's no point paying so much money for shoes to then let them get badly scratched and dirty.

The lip stain i'm wearing looks slightly brighter in real life, I got it in a glossybox and I love it. The stain is by Jelly Pong Pong, it's very moisturising and the colour (Cranberry) lasts the whole day. It looks like a crayon (similar to Revlon Just Bitten) which I prefer to the liquid stains as the colour doesn't last or show up as well. I'd certainly recommend it, they come in marshmallow pink as well, a lovely colour which is described as soft petal pink on the website, undoubtedly my next beauty purchase :) .
